Science
Last week in Science, we reviewed the last of the five senses: the sense of taste and wrapped up our Five Senses Unit with a review and assessment.
This coming week, our scholars will re-visit “Our Five Senses” with an activity on Tuesday and will re-visit “Healthy Habits” on Wednesday.  We will wrap up the week with another “Healthy Habits” activity on Friday for Early Release.

Last week Kindergarten Mathematicians continued to count sets and learned how to form the number symbols that are used to communicate numerical amounts. Kindergartners should remember to use the Spalding method of forming numerals.  Please reference the videos for more information.
This week we will begin to talk about deconstruction of sets by taking a whole and dividing the whole into two parts and graphing.  On Wednesday we will conduct a Unit 2 Review and begin to explore numbers 1 – 10.
