Greetings Kinder! Our scholars are hard at work learning to read and counting the numbers. It's been such a joy to watch them sound out words and put the sounds together
and read. We are so proud of their hard work! No school on March 5th, and Spring Break is March 8th-12th. Enjoy the Break!

Riddle of the week
I'm an animal you might love
But I'm too big to be your pet
I have an extremely long trunk
And it's said I never forget
Who am I?

Math:
Last week we learned about 10 and ones up to 20, the importance of place value charts and that sets are described by a numeric value. This week the fun continues with adding two subsets to make a total set by using number bonds.
History:
Last week, we finished our lesson on three types of governments. We discussed and learned about Democracy, Monarchy and Dictatorship.
Next week, we will be introduced to presidents and will be discussing President Washington.
Science:
We will discuss where animals lives, habitats. From desert, ocean, forest, arctic to rainforest to understand how each habitat provides for the animal to survive.
Literature:
As we finish learning about
Winnie the Pooh and his adventures, we will dive straight into some intriguing
stories about how to make “Stone Soup” and “Fandango Stew”. These
stories will teach us more than us how to make soup, they will also introduce
the importance of the virtue of kindness and sharing.
Our read out loud right now is Stuart Little.
