I like to use my long tongue
To eat leaves from tops of trees
I don't have to climb up though
With my long neck it's a breeze
Who am I?

Math:The 100th Day Celebration was a blast! Thank you for supporting our program by generously filling the sign-up genius and assisting your scholars with their wonderful projects. It was a very fun and exciting day.
This week in mathematics we will continue to compare sets by using the strategy of one-to-one matching and discovering which set has more/less and by how many. We will conclude our current unit on Thursday with an assessment and then embark on Numbers to 20.
History:
This week in History, we finished with the Native American Regions and next week we will begin to learn about Democracy.
Science:
This week in Science we had a great discussion about the natural resources that Earth gave us. We learned that renewable resources can be replaced, and nonrenewable resources can’t be replaced. We will continue to talk about taking care of the Earth. We will describe the concept of recycling and identify items that can be recycled. We will have a hands on experience of creating recycled paper on Wednesday.
Literature:
We will conclude our story of The Country Mouse and the Town Mouse, and transition into a story about another mouse. This coming week, we will learn about The Jumping Mouse and the far off lands that he traveled to, and the characters that he met along the way.
Our read out loud right now is Stuart Little.
